WHO I AM.

About / Brand

My logo seems to be born by chance. In Greece, exactly in Athens, during one of my frequent business trips, I was in a quaint diner waiting for my order and enjoyed drawing my signature with the Greek eye next to it. This symbol has a special meaning and, contrary to what you might think, it has no religious significance.

The origin of theGreek Eye, also known as Nazar Bonjuk, is very old and comes from Ottoman history.

Some inhabitants of an archaic Anatolian population, engaged in certain work for their village, had to move a huge and very heavy boulder to the seashore, but no one seemed to succeed. They had tried all the methods then known, but the boulder still had not moved.

There lived, however, not far from their village, a clear-eyed man who was believed to cast the evil eye: accompanied by the villagers in front of the boulder, he exclaimed in amazement, "What a big stone!" and it suddenly shattered.

It is from this tale that we derive the belief in the positive power of the Blue Eye, capable of neutralizing everyday roughness with a disruptive equal and opposite force.

I want my bags Monica Zuccheri to be good luck charms for all of us.
